Video Blog Series: “A Day in the Life: LIS Roundtable”

It was a special treat to hang out with U.S. Senator Gillibrand and Congressman Israel  on the beautiful Long Island Sound last week.

CCE was thrilled when we were asked to help organize a roundtable with the Senator and Congressman. The goal was to bring together concerned stakeholders to address the needs for restoring and protecting the Sound. The event was well attended with dozens of participants – including local government representatives, non-profit organizations, and scientists. CCE looks forward to working with our federal leaders to ensure sufficient funding levels and to continue programs that protect Long Island Sound’s environment, public health, tourism, and maritime economy.
